Description

Industrial encoder accessories, encoder wheels, and encoder meter wheels are components used with encoders to measure position, speed, or direction of a rotating shaft or linear motion. Encoder wheels are made of aluminum and polyurethane with evenly spaced slots or holes around the circumference. As the wheel rotates, an optical or magnetic sensor detects changes in the slot or hole pattern to calculate rotation angle or linear travel distance. Encoder meter wheels are similar but feature a tire or tread that contacts the surface being measured, commonly used for measuring conveyor belt speed or linear movement. Made of aluminum and polyurethane, these wheels are durable and resistant to wear. Color: as shown. Material: aluminum + polyurethane. Size: thickness: 15mm (0.59 inch), diameter: 100mm (3.94 inch), bore diameter: 10mm (0.39 inch). Package includes: 1 x encoder wheel. Other items not included.
