This erecting eyepiece flips the image right-side-up. Reflector telescopes use mirrors to collect light and typically project an upside-down image. When observing space, this is not an issue, as there is no concept of upside-down in space. However, for daytime terrestrial viewing, you may prefer an upright image. This eyepiece is compatible with any telescope or optical device that accepts a standard 1.25-inch diameter eyepiece. It corrects the orientation of the image and provides 1.5x magnification.
