BP3: The larger M14 thread gives a broad plastic contact area, but load and tightening force still need to stay suitable.. BP4: Supplied in 1000 mm rods for longer spacing runs or for cutting into multiple shorter threaded sections.. BP5: Use for custom plastic studding, fixture spacing, alignment bars and isolation points with compatible M14 hardware.. || PRODUCT DESCRIPTION SUMMARY: These M14 x 1000 mm white PTFE threaded rods are supplied as two fully threaded plastic bars for custom spacing, alignment and non-metallic fixing work. The M14 size gives a broad thread that is easier to handle in larger light-duty assemblies, while PTFE adds low friction, electrical insulation and strong chemical compatibility for suitable environments. PTFE is not a metal substitute for high-load work, so the design should allow for its lower stiffness and creep behaviour. Cut to length as needed and avoid over-tightening plastic threads.
