Application 1: Place the knife blade flat on the rail closest to the handle, so that the blade rests on the abrasive. Press the blade away from the abrasive and repeat this step with the corresponding rail. Alternately rotate the blade towards the abrasive and draw it along the surface 5-10 times.Application 2: Turn the knob so that the smooth surface and the knob are facing upwards. Place the knife flat on the guide holder so that the blade rests on the rail. Press the blade away from the abrasive. Repeat this step along the abrasive surface, alternately moving the blade towards and along the abrasive. Use the opposite guides compatible with this. Make 5 strokes per side.Application 3: Hold the knife holder so that the leather blade is facing upwards and the side of the blade is facing downwards and away from the leather. Press the back of the knife so that the leather blade is facing upwards. Repeat this step 10 times, alternating between the opposite guides and gently pulling the blade in your hand.Application 4: Select the appropriate ceramic rod according to the bevel of the serrated blade. Use 3–5 strokes per tooth with short, pulling motions.Note: Slight color variations are possible but do not affect functionality.
