It supports the growth of beneficial bacteria, helping maintain a healthy aquatic environment for fish and turtles. The biochemical cotton is washable and reusable. Increased Oxygenation The filter features an air inlet that enhances oxygen levels in the water, promoting active fish behavior and supporting the development of beneficial bacteria, such as nitrifying bacteria. The oxygen flow can be adjusted using the air inlet valve. Note: The air inlet valve must be positioned outside the aquarium and exposed to air. Ultra Quiet Operation Equipped with a premium pump motor, this filter operates quietly at only 35 dBcomparable to a whisper or the ambient sound of a quiet library. For maximum quietness, it is recommended to turn off the aeration function at night by closing the air valve.
