Usage Tips:1. High quality metal fuselage and good internal structure, do not produce flame, only produce sparks. Choose extra long thick cotton core, more economical and durable. 2. Pull the cotton rope part out of the metal tube housing and strike the attached flint wheel so that the cotton rope generates sparks, igniting cigarettes and flammable items, but no flame. It is extinguished by retracting the string back into the tube and then through the attached lid. 3. Blacken the end of the rope before using it to create a spark. If you want a more visible flame, add a little kerosene to the string. 4. This lighter goes by other names. Rope lighters were concealed to some extent and were often used during World War II. The shepherd's lighter is windproof and useful for shepherds to watch their sheep in the wind.
