The AD9833 is a low-power programmable signal generator module. It produces sine, triangle, and square wave outputs. The device features a 28-bit frequency register with a 25 MHz reference clock. It utilizes a standard serial interface for direct communication with microprocessors, DSPs, and microcontrollers. The operating voltage range is 2.3 V to 5.5 V. Power consumption is 12.65 mW at 3 V. The output frequency range extends from 0 MHz to 12.5 MHz. A power-down function is included to minimize power usage. The module is digitally programmable for frequency and phase adjustment. Package contents include one DDS module and one pin header.
