Description

Black wire connects directly to earth on the outboard. Emergency kill stop switch with lanyard for all outboard motors. Many older outboard motors do not provide protection by cutting off the engine ignition if the operator falls out of the boat. This essential safety device features a lanyard that attaches to your wrist or clothing and stops the engine in the event of an accident on the water. The switch is normally open and closes the circuit when activated by pulling the lanyard. It can also be activated by pressing the red button. If there is no spark in your outboards ignition system, the existing kill switch may be faulty or stuck in the off position and require replacement.
