Lay your mat down on a flat surface. (unless it is a soft mat where then it can be folded and bent) Plug the controller into the mat and then plug the other end into a power outlet. Press the power button on the controller and set the temperature to your desired heat. Let the mat preheat for about 30 minutes. Cover the whole mat with a blanket for even heat distribution . The cover / blanket will trap in the heat. Q: What temperature should I use the mat at? A: We suggest starting out at 30-50 degrees Celsius. 50 degrees Celsius is suitable for most 30-60 minute sessions. 30 degrees Celsius is suitable for longer times on the mat like if you sleep on the mat. For shorter and less frequent sessions, if you wish to have your mat warmer, turn the temperature up to a maximum of 70 degrees Celsius. (Note: these are internal mat temperatures and surface temperature is less).
