Damaged tape can result in poor seals and potential damage to the heating element or sealer. Tape may be slightly wider than necessary to ensure broad compatibility. Replace the tape when it appears worn, discolored, or if sealing performance declines. Cut the tape from the roll and apply it to the designated area (clean the surface before installing the new tape). Position over the wire for vacuum sealers and under the wire for impulse sealers. Compared to standard tape, this PTFE tape offers superior heat and cold resistance.
