HEPA filter removes larger suspended particles, including dust and common pollutants. Activated carbon reduces volatile organic compounds (VOCs), tobacco smoke, PM2.5 and common household odors. 3. Activated carbon filter: reduces volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and household odors from cooking, pets and smoke. It is designed to capture suspended particles indoors. 4. The filter is easy to replace and dispose of, no tools required. Replace the HEPA filter every 6-8 months, depending on usage and environment.
