SIMATIC DP, electronic module for ET200S, 4/8 F-DI PROFIsafe, DC 24V, 30mm size, up to PL E (ISO 13849), up to SIL3 (IEC 61508), also usable in PROFINET configurations with IM 151-3 HF. SIMATIC ET 200S is a modular, scalable, decentralized peripheral system specifically designed for installation in small machine-mounted control cabinets. The modules can either be plugged directly into an ET 200S IM with CPU functionality or connected to a central controller via PROFINET or PROFIBUS. SIMATIC ET 200S can be expanded with up to 64 peripheral modules that can be combined in any configuration. The system offers a wide range of components. Many modules are also available in various versions, significantly enhancing scalability in terms of functionality and price. In addition to modules with standard functionality (ST), there are also those with extended features and diagnostics (HF High Feature/ HS High Speed). The advantage of the ET 200S system lies in its ease of use, such as the ability to change modules and terminal boxes while the system is running. The so-called Hot Swapping significantly increases the availability and productivity of the machine.
