Typically, this requires replacement and programming of a new steering column lock, which can be costly and time-consuming. This emulator provides a solution by bypassing the faulty ELV module. Designed to emulate a functional steering lock, it eliminates the need for a new unit in many cases. Note: In some instances, automobile access system error codes, memory, and counters must be cleared using a diagnostic tool. Professional installation is strongly recommended.
