This sensor utilizes optical principles to comprehensively judge turbidity based on light transmittance and scattering rate in the solution. Inside the sensor is an infrared pair tube. When light passes through water, the amount of light transmitted depends on the water's pollution level. The more polluted the water, the less light is transmitted. The light-receiving end converts the transmitted light power into a corresponding current. A larger current indicates more transmitted light, while a smaller current indicates less transmitted light. The analog quantity can be sampled and processed by the A/D converter of the single-chip microcomputer to obtain the current water turbidity. When the turbidity reaches the set threshold, the D1 indicator will light up, the sensor module output will change from high to low, and the microcontroller can monitor the level change to determine whether the water turbidity exceeds the standard, providing a warning or triggering other equipment.
