The lengths of a (float arm to oil float) and b (adapter length) of the new fuel level sensor must match the values in the table in the instruction manual to fit the fuel tank. ***Adjust the length of A, its length is made by cutting off the float arm. ***Adjust the length of B, loosen the shaft sleeve screw, adjust the shaft to the desired length and then tighten. Rotate the pivot assembly to allow the float arm to move freely when placed in the tank. 4. Install the adjusted fuel level sensor into the fuel tank, install the gasket into the fuel tank mounting hole, tighten all fasteners, and refill the fuel.
